EBEN HOPSON SR. MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP COMMITTEE

The City of Barrow hereby gives notice to One (1) Alternate Vacant Seat: 

Alternate Seat I

This seat is an alternate seat for a 3 year term on the Eben Hopson Sr. Memorial Scholarship Committee.

·         The Scholarship Committee shall develop its own written policies concerning application procedures, conduct of meetings, selection of officers, regularity of meetings, eligibility guidelines and allowable education expenses.  These written policies shall be submitted to the city council for approval.

·         The Scholarship Committee shall regulate all Scholarships in accordance with City of Barrow, Code of Ordinance Chapter 4.24

·         An Alternate must attend all meetings; the committee shall meet at least three times a year to access applications for the three scholarship periods. 

·         Must be a Barrow Resident

Any interested parties should submit a letter of interest to Scholarship Administrator, City Hall.
